Salesmatrix reads Cin7 Core over its own API, so there is nothing to install and no IT project.

Create an API key
In Cin7 Core, open Integrations, then API, and add an application called Salesmatrix. Cin7 Core shows an Account ID and a Key.

Register and test
Register on dashboard.salesmatrix.com, choose Dear as your system, paste in the two values and click Test Connection.

Open your dashboard
Your full history imports overnight. Next morning your customers, products and sales are in Salesmatrix, and each night after that only what changed is read.

Your key, your switch
The connection is the API application you created. Delete it in Cin7 Core and Salesmatrix stops reading straight away.
Changes follow through
An invoice edited, re-dated or voided after import is picked up the next night: the new version replaces the old, and a void drops to zero.
Quiet during the day
Imports run once a night, outside Australian and New Zealand business hours, and read only the sales that changed since the last one.
What Salesmatrix reads from Cin7 Core
- Customers, with Additional Attributes 1–4 and state as categories, and their contacts
- Products, with category, brand, type, default location, tags, price tier 1 and average cost
- Authorised and paid invoices, excluding GST, and credit notes as negative sales
- Freight and other additional charges, kept apart from product sales

- Purchase orders and suppliers
- Stock levels, transfers and stocktakes
- Payments and bank details
- Quotes and orders that have not been invoiced

Who can set it up?
Anyone with a Cin7 Core login that can open Integrations, plus an email address that becomes the first administrator of your Salesmatrix dashboard. No IT person is needed.
How much history comes across?
All of it. The first import reads your full sales history, so it can take a few hours. After that, each night reads only the sales that changed.
Why might the figures differ from Cin7 Core's reports?
Salesmatrix reports sales excluding GST, by invoice date, with credit notes on the date they were raised. Compare with a Cin7 Core report built the same way.
Where is our data kept?
On servers at AccuWebHosting.com in Sydney, Australia and Denver, US. Each business has its own private dashboard.
Can we stop it later?
Yes, at any time. Click Disconnect on the Connection page of your dashboard and choose whether to keep the data already imported. Or delete the Salesmatrix application in Cin7 Core.
