Install The Connector
On any Windows PC or server in your office that can reach the Jiwa SQL Server and stays on overnight. Often that is the SQL Server itself.

Add a read-only login
Your IT person creates a SQL login that can read the Jiwa database and nothing else. The Jiwa queries are ready-made, already running every night at a Jiwa site.

Open your dashboard
The first load runs overnight. Next morning your customers, products and sales are in Salesmatrix, and each night after that only the new sales are added.

What does our IT person need to do?
Two things: install The Connector on a Windows machine that can reach the Jiwa SQL Server, and create a SQL Server login with read-only access to the Jiwa database (membership of the db_datareader role is enough). Our Jiwa queries are ready to go, so we finish the rest with you on a short call.
Will it slow Jiwa down?
It runs overnight, outside business hours. After the first load it sends only the previous day's new sales, which takes the database a moment.
Do we need to open anything in our firewall?
No. The Connector only makes outgoing connections to Salesmatrix, the same way a web browser does. Nothing connects in to your network.
Where is our data kept?
On servers at AccuWebHosting.com in Sydney, Australia and Denver, US. Each business has its own private dashboard.
Can we stop it later?
Yes, at any time. Disable the read-only login, or uninstall The Connector from Windows like any other program, and nothing more is sent.
