MYOB Acumatica For MYOB Acumatica and Acumatica users

Sales intelligence for Acumatica

Acumatica holds every invoice, customer and stock item you sell. Salesmatrix turns that history into a daily view of who is growing, who is slipping and what each salesperson should offer next. Connect with a read-only user in about 20 minutes, with nothing to install.

Three steps, one morning

Salesmatrix signs in to Acumatica like a person would, with a user you create for it, and reads through Acumatica's standard web service endpoint.

01

Create a Salesmatrix user

Your Acumatica administrator adds a user, e.g. salesmatrix, with view access to customers, contacts, stock items, salespersons, invoices and sales orders.

02

Register and test

Register on dashboard.salesmatrix.com, choose Acumatica, enter your site address, company, username and password, and click Test Connection.

03

Open your dashboard

Your history imports overnight. Next morning your customers, products, salespeople and sales are in Salesmatrix, and each night after that only what changed is read.

Safe by design

Built for the questions your Acumatica administrator will ask.

View-only by role

You decide what the Salesmatrix user can see, using Acumatica's own roles. View access is all it needs, and Salesmatrix never changes anything in Acumatica.

A user of its own

Not a staff member's login, so a password change or someone leaving never stops your imports.

Your switch

Disable the Salesmatrix user in Acumatica and reading stops straight away. Nothing is installed in your Acumatica site to remove.

Quiet during the day

Imports run once a night, outside Australian and New Zealand business hours, and read only what changed since the last one.

What Salesmatrix reads from Acumatica

  • Customers, with customer class, category, warehouse and salesperson as categories, and their contacts
  • Stock items, with item class, default price and last cost
  • Open and closed invoices, and credit memos as negative sales
  • Salespersons, falling back to the customer's default where an invoice has none
  • Sales orders, only for the cost of each invoice line

What it leaves alone

  • Payroll and employee records
  • Purchasing, vendors and payables
  • Cash, bank accounts and payments
  • Your general ledger
  • Any screen you don't give the Salesmatrix user access to

What your Acumatica data becomes

Acumatica records what was sold. Salesmatrix shows each salesperson who to call next and why, filled with your own history from day one.

Lapsed and slipping customers

Who has stopped buying, who is buying less of what, and what that is worth.

Sales by class and warehouse

Slice by the customer classes, item classes and warehouses you already keep in Acumatica, without building a report.

Budgets by salesperson

Set a sales budget from last year's sales and track every salesperson against it, month by month.

Salespeople on the road

Each salesperson's own dashboard, and any customer's SWOT on their phone before they walk in.

Questions from Acumatica users

Does it work with MYOB Acumatica?

Yes. MYOB Acumatica, formerly MYOB Advanced, is Acumatica, and connects the same way. Choose Acumatica when you register.

Which Acumatica versions are supported?

Acumatica 2024 R2 or later. Salesmatrix uses version 24.200.001 of Acumatica's Default web service endpoint; your administrator can check it is listed on the Web Service Endpoints screen. On an older version? Talk to us.

We have several companies in Acumatica. Which one is read?

The one you name when you register, the same company you choose when signing in to Acumatica. You can also name a branch, though most sites leave it empty.

What happens if the user's password changes?

Imports pause until you enter the new password on the Connection page of your dashboard. Salesmatrix then carries on from where it stopped, so nothing is missed or imported twice. Setting the Salesmatrix user's password not to expire avoids the pause.

Where is our data kept?

On servers at AccuWebHosting.com in Sydney, Australia and Denver, US. Each business has its own private dashboard.

Can we stop it later?

Yes, at any time. Click Disconnect on the Connection page of your dashboard and choose whether to keep the data already imported. Or disable the Salesmatrix user in Acumatica.

Connect Acumatica tonight. See your sales tomorrow morning.
