Three steps, one morning
Salesmatrix reads Odoo over its own API, so there is no module to install and no IT project.

Create an API key
Signed in to Odoo as the Salesmatrix user, open My Profile, then Account Security, and click New API Key. Copy it: Odoo shows it only once.

Register and test
Register on dashboard.salesmatrix.com and choose Odoo (JSON2) for Odoo 19 or later, or Odoo for 18 and earlier. Enter your Odoo address and key, and click Test Connection.

Open your dashboard
Your sales history imports overnight. Next morning your customers, products, salespeople and sales are in Salesmatrix, and each night after that only what changed is read.

Your key, your switch
The connection is an API key on a user you choose. Delete the key under Account Security and Salesmatrix stops reading straight away.
Changes follow through
An invoice changed after import, even one reset to draft and confirmed again, is picked up the next night and replaces the old version.
Quiet during the day
Imports run once a night, outside Australian and New Zealand business hours, and read only what changed since the last one.

Questions from Odoo users
Which Odoo versions work?
Odoo 19 and later connect as Odoo (JSON2), using Odoo's newer API. Odoo 18 and earlier connect as Odoo. To check your version, open Settings in Odoo and scroll to the bottom. If you upgrade to Odoo 19 later, we move your connection across and your imported data stays in place.
Do we need to install an Odoo module?
No. Salesmatrix uses the API that comes with Odoo, so there is nothing to add from the Odoo Apps store and nothing to update when Odoo updates.
What access does the Salesmatrix user need?
It needs to read Contacts, Products and Invoicing, including the invoice analysis. A user of its own is best, so a staff member leaving never stops your imports.
Where is our data kept?
On servers at AccuWebHosting.com in Sydney, Australia and Denver, US. Each business has its own private dashboard.
Can we stop it later?
Yes, at any time. Click Disconnect on the Connection page of your dashboard and choose whether to keep the data already imported. Or delete the Salesmatrix API key in Odoo.
